hi fred well here goes, i rear my youngens on a good breed and wean mix, mixed with a good four season mix from the very first egg to hatch , i use a canary egg food as a groath suppliment i use this mix for the first week they are moved, then i introduce barley around a thired , they soon get that bodyweight off and get up on the perches, by the time they are flying they get 50% barley mixed with the four season plus 10 oz jerry plus mixed with it for around 30 birds, i always feed them all they want till they leave the barley then no more till tomorrow,i increase the heavyer corn the more the work load , i also use plenty of matrix daily fresh after there main feed its a must, especialy for the parant birds . hope this is of some use to you and others ?. cheers
