PostSubject: Maidstone to Norway   Thu Jun 30, 2011 12:14 pm

My mate has just recieved a lost bird notification about a bird that was
in the Maidstone race on Sunday, it is on an oil rig off the coast of Norway,
luckily it is being cared for by a Mr Lilley of Hartlepool who himself is one of a very good partnership
that fly pigeons in the UNC, he is actualy going to bring the bird home with him in 2 weeks time.
I wonder how many of our birds have gone that way and not been so lucky.

We had one reported in Bonn, Germany 4yr ago , we lost it from Peterbrough 157mls, the bloke
wanted to keep it so we transfered it , 14 month later it dropped into our loft as though it had,nt been away.
it was a 2yr old when it went missing, its now an angel
